Ingredients :
- Rice -1 cup.
- Milk -1 cup.
- Curd – 1/2 cup.
- Green chillies -4-5.
- Salt to taste.
For Seasoning :
- Ghee -1 tbsp.
- Cashew nuts -1 tbsp.
- Mustard -1/2 tsp.
- Bengal gram dhal -1/2 tsp.
- Black gram dhal -1/2 tsp.
For Garnishing :
- Finely chopped coriander leaves .
- Pomegranate seeds.
- Seedless Grapes (optional ).
Method :
- Cook rice till it becomes soft. Drain water and allow it to cool.
- Mash with hand and add milk to that.
- Heat oil,add seasonings and fry,add slit green chillies,fry for a minute and pour over the rice.
- Add salt and mix well.
- Mix curd one hour before serving.
- Garnish with Pomegranates seeds, Grapes, Coriander leaves.
- Serve with Pickle.
