Ingredients:
- Maida – 2 cups.
- Sugar powder -2 tsp.
- Chilli powder -4 tsp.
- Asafoetida -1 tsp.
- Salt – 2 tsp.
- Ghee – 1 tbsp.
- Water – enough to prepare dough.
- Oil – to deep fry.
Method :
- Mix maida , sugar, chilli powder, asafoetida and salt.
- Heat ghee in a ladle and pour over maida , mix well and prepare soft dough using enough water.
- Knead well and keep aside cover with wet cloth for an hour.
- Knead well again and divide into balls.
- Roll it out into slightly thicker chapathis.
- Cut into diamonds or squares using samosa cutter.
- Deep fry in oil till crisp.
