Parippu Vada (Dhal Vada )

Ingredients :

  • Green Peas Dhal – 1 cup.
  • Finely chopped shallots – 1/4 cup.
  • Finely chopped green chillies -7.
  • Crushed red chilli- 1
  • Crushed ginger – 1 tsp.
  • Chopped coriander and curry leaves – 2 tbsp.
  • Salt – as required.
  • Oil -enough for deep fry.

Method :

  • Soak dhal in water for 2 hours.
  • Drain water completely and grind in to coarse paste.
  • Add salt and other ingredients.
  • Make lemon size balls,flatten and deep fry in hot oil ( 8 to 10 vada can be deep fry at a time or till oil holds )
  • Serve hot with pickle or sauce.
