Pazham Pori ( Banana Fritters )

Banana-fritters

Ingredients :

  • Banana (Nendra ) – 2 ( the banana should be ripe but not over ripe ).
  • Maida  – 4 tbsp (level ).
  • Rice flour – 1 tbsp ( level ).
  • Sugar -2 tsp.
  • Lemon yellow colour – a pinch (optional ).
  • Salt to taste.
  • Oil –  for frying.

Method :

  • Peel and cut bananas first into half and than slice into three.
  • Mix all the ingredients and prepare a thick batter by mixing with water.
  • Dip the banana slice one by one in the batter and put in hot oil (few at a time ).
  • Deep fry till golden brown.
  • Remove from pan and drain on absorbent paper.
  • Serve hot with Tea.
