This is Kochi konkanis version of Pineapple Sasam, and one of the side dishes of their festival feast.
Ingredients :
- Pineapple – 1 .
- Apple -1
- Banana -2 ( Rasbale or kadali )
- Seedless Grapes – few
- Coconut – 1/2.( Approximate 2 cups )
- Curds – 1 cup.
- Green chillies -2
- Sugar – 2 tsp.
- Mustard seeds – 1/4 tsp
- Salt to taste.
For seasoning :
- Oil – 1 tsp.
- Mustard seeds – 1/2 tsp.
- Curry leaves – few.
- Cumin seeds – 1/4 tsp.
Method :
- Grind coconut and green chillies with little water to a smooth paste add crushed mustard to the paste.
- Peel and dice fruits into even size pieces.
- Add sugar and salt mix well.
- Beat curds add ground paste , fruits and mix well.
- Season mustard, cumin seeds and curry leaves in little oil and mix with sasam.
