Ingredients:
- Plantain ( Bang bale Kele ) Raw.
- Salt
- Oil for deep frying.
Masala for sprinkle :
- Red chilli powder.
- Asfoetida.
Variation
- Kala namak powder.( Himalayan Black Salt )
- Black Pepper powder.
Method :
- Peel off the skin of the plantain.
- Heat oil,slowly slice the plantain using chips slicer or mandolin slicer directly into hot oil.
- When it is cooked sprinkle some salt water and stir.
- Turn over the chips to cook both sides.
- Once sure they are crisp use a strainer to take the chips out and place them on an absorbent paper to drain the excess oil off.Sprinkle masala powder when chips are still warm.
