Ingredients :
- Raw Rice – 1 cup.
- Grated coconut – 1 cup.
- Beaten Rice ( powa ) – 1/2 cup.
- Grated pumpkin – 2 cup.
- Jaggery ( grated ) – 1 cup.
- Salt – little.
- Ghee for frying.
Method :
- Soak rice in water for an hour.
- Grind rice with grated coconut to a smooth paste.Add grated pumpkin,soaked powa and Jaggery at the end of grinding.
- Keep The batter aside for an hour.
- Heat paniyaram pan with 1/2 tsp of ghee in each pit.
- Pour the batter in each cup till half filled.
- Cook in slow flame,turn over carefully with a spoon by loosening the side.
- If necessary add little ghee on top.
- When it is cooked properly remove with help of a spoon. Serve hot or cold.
