This is a combination of two traditional drinks such as Panak and Mango Panna which is served in south and north India.Very refreshing during summer days.
Ingredients :
- Raw green Mangoes – 2-3.
- Jaggery cubes – 3-4 pieces.
- Pepper- 2 tsp
- Dry ginger (shunti) – 1 piece (powdered)
- Salt – 1 tsp.
- Water – 3 cups.
Method :
- Keep raw mangoes in vessel in pressure cooker (Whole mangoes without removing skin )and cook for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Allow to cool,and remove skin and mash the pulp properly.
- Heat jaggery with water,until it is dissolved completely.
- Add mango pulp and salt and boil few more minutes.
- Add pepper and dry ginger powder.
- Allow to cool and strain it
- Dilute it according to taste.
- Serve in a glass with / without ice according to taste
