Panasa Kadhi( Jack fruit Halwa )

Phanasa-Khdi

Ingredients :

  • Jack fruit puree – 1 cup.
  • Sugar – slightly lesser than 1 cup.
  • Ghee – 2 – 3 tbsp.
  • Cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp.

Method :

  • Heat sugar and jack fruit puree in a heavy bottom kadai, mix constantly.
  • Add half of the ghee when it sticks to bottom.
  • When it becomes thick like ball,pour rest of the ghee,and stir it leaves the side of the vessel.
  • Pour on a greased tray.
  • Cut into pieces when it is still warm.
