Garlic-chutney-powder

Ingredients :

  • Grated Coconut – 2 cups.
  • Garlic – 2 whole.
  • Red chillies – 10.
  • Kashmiri Red chillies  – 7.
  • Coconut oil – 1- 2 tsp.
  • Tamarind – small pebble size.
  • Salt – 1 – 1 1/2 tsp

Method :

  • Peel the garlic.
  • Heat oil in a Kadai and fry garlic in slow flame till it turns golden brown.
  • In another Kadai dry roast salt and tamarind one by one separately,keep it aside.
  • Now add little oil and fry chillies on a slow flame, keep it aside.
  • Roast grated coconut on a slow flame until it turns golden brown.
  • Remove from fire and allow to cool.
  • Put all ingredients together in mixer grinder.Powder coarsely.
  • Preserve in an air- tight  container.
