Ingredients :
- Tomatoes – 8 (big sized ).
- Shallots – 4.
- Garlic flakes – 4.
- Cinnamon – 1 inch piece.
- Cloves – 4.
- Corn flour – 2 tsp.
- Sugar – as per taste.
- Salt and pepper powder – as per taste.
- Butter – 1 tbsp.
Method :
- Peel garlic and shallots.
- Pressure cook tomatoes,garlic,shallots,cloves and cinnamon with enough water.
- Cool down thoroughly and discard cloves and cinnamon.
- Blend in mixer grinder and then strain through broad eyed strainer to remove seeds and skin.
- If necessary dilute it with water and reheat with salt and sugar.
- Mix corn flour with little water and add to the soup.
- Cook till the flour loses its raw smell.
- Just before serving sprinkle pepper powder.
- Serve hot in soup bowl with butter and fried bread croutons.
