Ingredients :
- Raw Rice – 1 cup.
- Boiled Rice – 1 cup.
- Grated coconut – 2 cups.
- Jack fruit chopped – 3- 4 cups.
- Jaggery powder – 1 – 1 1/2 cups.
- Salt – 1 tsp.
- Teak leaves – 10 -12 ( use tender ones, only then will you get the red colour).
Method :
- Soak rice for 2 hours.
- Drain the water completely.
- Grind with jack fruit and grated coconut using very little water.
- Add jaggery and salt, grind again for a minute.
- Clean and wipe the leaves .
- Spread batter on it and fold.
- Steam in a Steamer for 30 – 45 minutes.
- Serve with Butter, Ghee or Honey
