Ingredients :
- Raw Rice – 1 1/2 cup.
- jackfruit chopped – 4 cups .
- Jaggery powder – 2 cups.
- Cashewnuts chopped – 2 tbsp.
- Cardamom powder – 1 tsp (optional ).
- Salt – 1 tsp.
- Oil for deep frying.
Method :
- Soak the rice for 2 hours.
- Grind rice and jackfruit without adding water to a coarse paste.
- Add jaggery and salt and grind for a minute.
- If the batter is watery add 1 tbsp rice flour and make the batter in to dropping consistency.
- Heat oil and drop a spoon full of batter into hot oil.
- Deep fry to a golden brown on a slow flame.
