Methi-thepla

Ingredients :

  • Wheat flour – 1 cup.
  • Besan (bengal gram flour ) – 1 tbsp.
  • Chopped methi leaves (fenugreek ) – 2 tbsp.
  • Curd – 1 tbsp.
  • Chilli powder – 2 tsp.
  • Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp.
  • oil – 1 – 2 tsp.
  • Salt to taste.

Method :

  • Mix all ingredients in mixing bowl.
  • Sprinkle enough water and knead to a smooth dough.
  • Make even sized balls and roll out into chappathis of medium thickness,using wheat flour for dusting.
  • Roast on hot tawa using half a tsp of oil for both sides.
  • Serve with Chunda
