Goli Baje (Mangalore Bonda )

Ingredients :

  • Maida – 1 cup.
  • Bengal gram flour – 1 tbsp.
  • Green chillies -2.
  • Ginger- 1 inch piece.
  • Sugar – 1 tsp.
  • Cooking soda – 1/2 tsp.
  • Butter milk – 1/2 cup.
  • Salt to taste.
  • Oil to deep fry.

Method :

  • Crush green chillies and ginger.
  • Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl.
  • Keep closed for at least an hour.
  • Heat oil in a deep curved pan.
  • Using wet hands make small  sized balls and drop them in hot oil.
  • Deep fry till golden brown and serve hot with chutney.
