Ingredients :
- Ripe Mangoes ( Wild Variety ) – 4.
- Grated coconut – 1 cup.
- Curd – 1/2 cup.
- Jaggery – 1 pieces .
- Green chilies – 4.
- Red chili powder – 1/2 tsp.
- Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp.
- Cumin seeds – 1/4 tsp.
- Fenugreek powder – 1/4 tsp( dry roast and powder it ).
- Salt to taste.
For Seasoning :
- Oil – 1 tsp.
- Mustard seeds – 1 /2 tsp.
- Cumin seeds – 1/4 tsp.
- Curry leaves – 1 sprig.
- Red chili – 1
Method :
- Peel the mangoes.
- Boil in enough water with green chilies,chili powder,turmeric powder, jaggery and salt.
- Grind coconut to a smooth paste with cumin seeds.
- Add this to the boiling mangoes.
- Cook it for a few more minutes.
- Switch off the heat, add blended curd to it and mix well.
- Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds and when they start to crackle add cumin seeds, curry leaves and red chili.
- Add the seasoning to mango curry .
- Sprinkle fenugreek powder and mix it well.
- Serve with rice.
